The Wharf at Handy’s Point is a great destination for all power boaters and sail boaters as we
are a short ride to reach the Chesapeake Bay, but far enough to still have great protection in
any inclement weather.
The Wharf is a quiet and relaxing marina which is what our customers enjoy the most.
By land, we are near the historic Chestertown and a short drive to Rock Hall. We are an hour from Annapolis, and hour and a half from Philadelphia, Baltimore, and Washington, DC.
The Wharf amenities include Wi-Fi, clean bathrooms and showers, coined laundry facilities, book share library, grill and picnic areas, ice and vending machines.

The Eastern Shore of Maryland is unique in its location. It benefits from two distinctive shorelines of water with an ocean on one side and an estuary on the other.
The Bay has long been a large part of history with early trade, profitable crabbing and oystering, boat industries, and even some pirating.
The development of the C&D Canal in the 1800’s boosted the Bay’s popularity even more by ultimately creating part of the Inter-coastal Waterway. Along with the flurry of weekenders, we experience considerable traffic from those working their way north or south, or vice versa, as well as world cruisers.
The calm waters, sandy bottoms, and abundant wildlife make the Chesapeake an enjoyable place to be.
